The top bar
At the top of your site builder, you'll find the top bar, which includes the following buttons:
- Main menu: Switch to other applications like Store, Bookings, Blog, or access your site settings.
- Add content: Add sections of content with various widgets in different layouts, or drag and drop individual widgets.
- Design: Choose a different style for your site using preset designs, or customise colours and fonts.
- Page Manager: Manage your pages by adding, deleting, editing settings, and adding custom scripts.
- Preview: See how your site will appear on desktop or mobile devices before publishing.
- Publish: Publish any changes made to your website.
These options are accessible from the top bar at the top of the site builder interface.
Adding a section
To add a section to your page:
- Click on the Add content tab at the top
- Select Add content from the drop-down menu
Selecting the location
Highlighted on your site, you will see green rows where you can add a new section. Choose the one where you want to add your new content.
Choose a category
You will have various content categories listed on the left. Each category offers different content options.
Select the content section you wish to use; it will then appear in your chosen position.
Move a section
To rearrange a section, use the arrows located to the right of the section. Click on the arrow pointing up to move the section up or the arrow pointing down to move it down. Note that you cannot move sections above the header or below the footer.
Move a widget
To adjust the position of a widget, hover over the widget and click on the green handlebar. Drag it to the desired position and release it to drop it there.
Publishing your site
The first time you publish your site, you may be prompted to choose a temporary subdomain name.
When you publish your site, it becomes visible on the World Wide Web (WWW). If you change your site, you will need to click Publish again to make new changes visible.
Blog posts are published automatically; you do not need to click the publish button to make a new post live.
