Our ecommerce widgets do not support item options like Size or Colour. To get additional functionality, you can embed PayPal payment widgets directly from PayPal. Login to your PayPal account and click on Merchant Services to find out more.
STEP 1. Create an account in PayPal
Sign up to get an account with PayPal
STEP 2. In your editor, create a page for your store
In this example, the site is selling cakes so the store page is called 'Online Store' (1) and inside of it you can see the different pages I added as categories to my products (2)
STEP 3. Import images for your items
For each item in the store, we need an image 150 x 150 pixels. If you use larger images the PayPal widget will scale them down but if you want the store page to load quickly it's a good idea to scale the images to the right size before you import them into the editor.
STEP 4. Set your PayPal Business Email
The first time you click on a PayPal widget you will be prompted for your PayPal Business Email (1). You can change this later in the MANAGE panel.
Select your currency (2) and click Save (3)
STEP 5. Add the first item to the page
Drag a PayPal Add To Cart widget onto the page
Click on the editing icon
Add an image for the item
Drag the image from your media tab to the image box in the options panel for the Add to Cart widget
Add details for the item
Click the save button (1)
When you click Save, the item will appear on the page
STEP 6. Add additional items to the page
STEP 7. Add the PayPal Cart widget to the page
STEP 8. Test your online store
Click the preview button to try out your cart
Click an Add to cart button to see your cart work
If the items in the cart appear listed here then everything is working. All you need to do now is publish the site.
